The second annual Book Blast 5K will be on Sunday, September 15th at Monroeville Community Park. Registration begins at 7:30am and the event starts at 9:00am.

The first Book Blast 5K Walk/Run was a great success due to our wonderful sponsors, participants, and volunteers. We look forward to continued community support to make our second race even better.

After the race there will be refreshments, raffle prizes, an awards ceremony, and entertainment.

Our 1st Book Blast 5K Walk/Run was a success!

147 registered.
Winners included:

Steven Joyce (winning time of: 19:05.50) and Jessica Grasso (winning time of: 21:10.50), the overall male and female winners, each received a trophy. Also, a book on running with a bookplate honoring each winner with the runner’s name and winning time was added to the Monroeville Public Library’s collection. Each winner also received a copy of the book.
