The Monroeville Public Library is pleased to present Pittsburgh swing band Dr. Zoot at the library's Grace Oliverio Birmingham Family Night Concert on Sunday, August 26 at 6:30 to 8:30pm.  This event is free to the public and open to all ages!

The seven-member band has been performing together since 1998, where they were a regular crowd-pleaser on Pittsburgh's South Side. With a sound that incorporates blues, jazz, Latin, hip-hop, and, of course, swing, Dr. Zoot has released several albums and performs across the eastern seaboard, as well as throughout Pittsburgh.

This Family Night special performance was made possible by the Grace Oliverio Birmingham Memorial Fund. Mrs. Birmingham was a librarian and a beloved member of the Monroeville Public Library family for more than 40 years. The Memorial Fund was established in celebration of her greatest loves: the education of children, and the public library.
