Puzzle Day
November 9, Sunday
2:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Fun for the whole family. Stop in and try your hand at a variety of puzzles. No registration is required.

Tot Time
November 11, Tuesday
10:00 - 10:30 a.m.
Stories, rhymes, and a song for children ages 1 - 3 with an adult. Register one week before the program.

Family Craft Night
November 12, Wednesday
7:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Bring the family to create crafts for Thanksgiving. Registration begins November 1.

Tot Time
November 25, Tuesday
10:00 - 10:30 a.m.
Stories, rhymes and a song for children ages 1 - 3 with an adult. Register one week before the program.

Children's Services

The Frances Repp Daugherty Children's Room is located on the lower level of the Library.

Children may get a card when they can clearly print their name in the space on the card.

The Library offers programs such as Tot Time, Pre-school Storytime, Summer Reading Club, Fall Reading Club, Family Craft Nights and other special programs.

The Children's Room has board books, picture books, easy readers, fiction, non-fiction, and reference books for children.

The Library has books on parenting and books to help you help your child in school.

There are seven public access computers in the Children's Room, four that have limited Internet access and three that are designated for searching the Library Catalog.

The Library has a variety of children's videos, DVDs, CD-ROMs, tapes, and magazines.

TumbleBookLibraryThe TumbleBookLibrary is a collection of animated, talking picture books. TumbleBooks are created by adding animation, sound, music and narration to existing picture books in order to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, or have read to you.
