If you are looking for a fun and simple way to support the library, meet new people, and see old friends, become a member of the Friends of the Monroeville Public Library.

Our Mission is to:

• Increase community awareness and use of the Library’s facility, resources and services.
• Encourage gifts, endowments and bequests to the Library.
• Provide funding for specific needs of the Library through special programs and events.
• Encourage others with a similar appreciation for the Library to work for the benefit of the Library.

Friends of the MPL members can choose to promote the mission in many ways:

• Assist with Short Term Special Projects
• Set Up for Artist Exhibits in the Gallery Space and Assist with Artist Receptions
• Bake for Events
• Promote Library Resources in the community such as at the Monroeville Lions Farmers’ Market
• Participate in Fundraising Events such as Trivia Night
• And more…
