Monroeville Public Library strives to support and aid families in learning and growing together by providing free access to books, educational resources, and engaging programs for all ages. Through family storytimes, workshops, and community events, libraries create shared learning experiences that strengthen communication and encourage curiosity at home. They also offer safe, welcoming spaces where families can explore new interests, access technology, and connect with community services. Monroeville Public Library staff serve as trusted guides, helping caregivers find reliable information, age-appropriate materials, and resources that support both academic growth and lifelong learning for the entire family.

LOTE4Kids is a database that makes stories available in dozens of different languages.  Hear a story read in whatever language you choose!  It’s a great resource for non-native persons learning English or those trying to learn a new language.

Let us do the choosing with you!  You let us know the child’s age and their areas of interest.  We will curate and gather books that we think you and your child will love!

Bookwalk at the Park

Located on the trail behind the gazebo at Monroeville Community Park (West), families will find a new story each month.  Thanks to generous donations from the Friends of Monroeville Public Library, we have a permanently installed Book Walk where your family can enjoy reading a story together while walking through one of our gorgeous municipal parks.
